Concerns for Putting Engineered or Laminate Floors
You can set engineered / laminate flooring relatively quickly. When you see the very first few planks of the floor going together, you can finish the rest of the job on your own. You can install laminate floors in almost any room of your home. Still, it's not recommended for use in bathrooms, mudrooms or another room where there could be an excess of moisture. The surplus water may damage the flooring, which would cause you to have to remove and replace sections of the laminate flooring.
